Sea Level ScubaWreck Diver Specialty ClassJanuary special continued until February 29th 15% off |
| The following class is being offered in the month of January for a special price. You must sign up for the class in January, pay the discounted class cost and workbook cost. The class can be taken any time during 2012, but must be take with at lease one other student (no one on one instruction). My unique way of teaching is small class sizes with lots of personal attention. Most of my classes are two students but the max I will have on any one dive will be four students. If you want to really learn a specialty class this is your opportunity to learn it in a small class with lots of personal attention at a reduced cost. I recommend you compare what I’m offering with other dive shops in the area. Be persistent and ask them exactly what you will be getting then compare it to what I’m offering. Wreck Diver Specialty: Wreck diving can be one of the most exciting aspects of sport diving and can uncover pieces of history seen by few others, however every effort must be made to maximize safe diving techniques. In the SDI Wreck Diver course, we will discuss and use equipment and techniques commonly employed while wreck diving. This course may be taught as a 1) non-penetration (2 total dives) or 2) limited-penetration (3 total dives) course. In the event of “Limited Penetration Training,” limited penetration is defined as “swim through or within the ambient light of entry point”. I will teach you how to safely plan and execute wreck dives in a fun and enjoyable way. SDI is the only agency that will allow penetration for sport divers. We do this to put you on the right track for possible tech classes in the future. To qualify for this class: You must be OWD certified, be 18 years of age. You must be Deep Certified to go beyond 60ffw. Students under 18 must have parental consent. For limited penetration student must be at lease 15 years old. Students 10 to 14 with parental consent can only take the non-penetration course. Students 10 to 14 with a Deep certification cannot go beyond 70fsw. January Wreck Diver Specialty Class cost: $170.00 penetration class cost ($200.00 normally). $153.00 non-penetration class cost ($180.00 normally). $28.00 workbook cost ($33.00 normally).
This includes classroom, 3 training dives if you’re penetrating, 2 training dives if this is a non-penetration class and C-card upon successfully completion of the class. Any student who signs up for this class will also get a 10% discount on any gear he or she purchases that is needed for this class. Gear does not need to be purchased until you start the class.
